| The South Society, a four piece rock band from Malmö, southern Sweden. Members: Emil Thorsson (Guitars), Michael Hansson (Vocals), Lars Kalthoff (Drums) and Peter DeMaltén (Bass). The band was formed in 2018. The first release, a single, "Hollowlands" was released december 25 in 2018. Second single "Steve McQueen" was released june 2019 -a stripped down and slightly melancholy song about McQueen and Ali MacGraw. The musical influences was imprinted growing up with 70´s rock acts. The musical formula is to keep it simple & straight forward -songs with strong melodies. The single "Awake" was released december 23, 2020. Spotify The third single "Awake".
